#WeCantAllRideABroom Halloween Themed Video for Transit Funding

Target Audience: Elected officials, transit stakeholders, residents and riders of the six county Northeastern Illinois region.

Strategy Objective:The objective of this entry is to build brand awareness, increase customer engagement, increase social media following, and promote the benefits of transit and the need for funding.

Situation Challenge: As a non-transit service providing authority, it can be a challenge to raise public awareness of the RTA's role as the financial and planning oversight agency for public transportation in the Northeastern Illinois region.

Results Impact: Our in-house production helped to increase the general public's awareness of the funding needs for our transit system. We promoted the video on our website and social media pages. The video was featured on our transit partners' web sites, social media pages and newsletters.

Why Submit: This video took a humorous approach to a very "scary" subject. The video graphics highlights APTA transit facts and the benefits of transit in the Chicago region. The video also sends a clear message as to the issue at hand and a call to action for the audience. Because life without a transit system in Chicago would be scary.
