Tri-Rail Fun Guide

Target Audience: Tri-Rail's "Fun Guide" targeted potential leisure riders, South Florida residents and visitors who would benefit from the commuter rail system's easy connectivity to destinations in the region.

Strategy Objective:The objective of Tri-Rail's Fun Guide was to demonstrate the convenience of riding the train by showcasing the many area attractions that are accessible by train. The Fun Guide was created as an at your fingertips information resource to expand weekend ridership, the primary time for leisure travel.

Situation Challenge: With 18 convenient train stations and viable connections, there's an ongoing need to promote Tri-Rail's access to South Florida's many popular attractions and regional events.

Results Impact: - 2,500 copies of the Fun Guide were printed and circulated at special events and select train stations - 12,373 views on the Ride & Play landing page on the Tri-Rail website where the digital version was linked when the guide was first available - 1,309 reads and 2,361 impressions on the digital version hosted on issuu.com

Why Submit: This entry is deserving of an AdWheel Award because it promotes Tri-Rail's easy connectivity to South Florida's many popular attractions and events in an easy to read format for visitors and residents alike. The Fun Guide, as a printed booklet and online, provides county by county destination recommendations with easy-to-use directions using the Tri-Rail system. The Fun Guide debuted in April 2018 and earned first place recognition for print advertising collateral form the Florida Public Transportation Association.
