"We're Hiring" campaign

Target Audience: Job seekers in the NJ-NY-PA region, as well as NJ Transit customers and stakeholders in state government and regional media.

Strategy Objective:Tell all audiences that NJ Transit is actively seeking staff in a variety of positions throughout the company.

Situation Challenge: Do to a number of factors over the preceding eight years, NJT lost a great number of highly skilled staff at every level of the organization and in every craft and occupation. A new administration refocused the company on attracting and retaining staff in order to fulfill our important regional transportation mission. We wanted to visually explore the great variety of career paths available with NJ Transit.

Results Impact: Since the campaign began, we have received hundreds of applications for specific positions weekly, as well as more than five thousand applications for railroad engineer positions within a three month period. The campaign has been incredibly effective.
